SJA Life Coaching
Your journey to success starts here!
If this is you, then you might benefit from having life coaching. Life coaching will help you to take action in the areas of your life that you want to change. Coaching is not counselling. It also does not treat disease, but rather addresses a client's sense of dis-ease or dissatisfaction and inability to achieve their desired goals. Unlike counselling, there is more focus upon the present and the future. Your past does not need to define your future, although there may be some important learning from it. Life coaching aims to be a catalyst that helps clients to define their own way forward.

SJA Life Coaching is a UK based service offering one to one sessions, however I am able to work with English speaking international clients too.
I specialise predominantly in life coaching that focuses on:
-
Career and Workplace Wellbeing
-
Life Transitions
-
Mental Wellness

Some of the ways in which I work:
-
Exploration in to motivation and helping the client to explore ways to increase it where this is deemed necessary.
-
Help you to identify and gain insight into self-limiting and self-sabotaging thoughts and behaviours that could be hindering your progress towards achieving your goals.
-
Using motivational interviewing which is a person-centred method that aims to help people to change by understanding an individual’s reasons for change and recognising that the solutions lie within the individual, and not the life coach. Motivational interviewing uses questioning techniques that empower people to understand and recognise that they have the ability to change their behaviour.
-
Helping clients to re-frame their thinking where unhelpful thinking patterns have been identified.
-
Using a democratic coaching style where the client takes an active role in determining coaching goals and the methods used to achieve them.
-
Using a holistic coaching style that takes into account the client as a whole person and recognises the connections, interactions and relationships between various parts of a person’s life.
